Scrap away in WA!

Very excited, I have booked myself on my first ever scrapbooking retreat in Yanchep (58km north of Perth) at the end of July! Staying at Club Capricorn (don't think its going to be a exotic as it sounds!), cropping and pastin for a whole 48 hours!! I bet thats exactly what the big scrapbooking room in the sky is like! Hopefully my scrappy girlfriend and fellow Kalgoorlian, Nic will be able to get time off to go as well! We've got onto it by a WA retreat chick 'Scrap away in WA'. She holds them every two months around outer Perth and advertises on facebook.
Will be sure to take lots of photos of us scrapping photos lol.

I'll be going to Perfff for my b'day too. Flights have only cost us $250 total as I used frequent flyers to get us there and got the return ones on sale for $125 each. Going to stay in nice hotel in the city, order room service and watch Kate and Wills get hitched. I reckon that'll be an awesome 30th (but then again I am the chick who thinks its awesome that I got wadders for my 21st)!! I reckon we'll move onto Fremantle for a day or so and just cruise around playing tourist :)

Kraft It Up Challenge - Yellow, Black and Blue

Another blog challenge, this one by Kraft It Up. Challenge as to use Kraft, Yellow, Black and Blue.

Materials I have used; Black cardstock, Kraft, Making memories paint, American Thickers alpha; Jenni Bowlin borders, Basic Grey brad, Chip Chop Shop button and string Tattered Angels Lemon Glimmermist and Been There Done That rub on's.

Fabric website discovery - Kelani Fabric!

I received the pattern in the post on Friday for theis gorgeous little owl mobile from Kelani Fabric Obsession. Love this website as they have funky little fabrics and patterns (mum they also have the big soft owl pattern you sent me). Looking forward to gathering up some fabrics and baby socks (for the little owl bodies), for putting these together. Just to be clear mum, making these up for Claire and Alina - not yet one for myself ! ;)

Now off to tidy up the scrapping room. I was over at Nic's last night and her room looks so beautiful and organised - she has unkowingly shamed me into tiding up my own lol.
