Scrap School is back!!
Well just slightly pumped full of scrapalicious thoughts after my first class back with Christine for 2009. I always need to wind down after class, but with Dean on nightshift - it might be a while yet!! This is the Christmas LO I have completed in tonights class - using pictures of your grand dogs of course! See the LO uses christmas bobbles, cute hey? I'm going to use the christmas pic of you and nan (which I think is the most gorgeous photo of both of you) in my next 'home project'. What ever that will be...Can't wait till next fortnight for the next class!!
This is another LO from Christines classes last year. Unfortunately I missed the class (I think it's when we did the redundancies?). At any rate I had everything stored away ready for it last November and finally did it on Saturday after viewing Chrstine's completed one on her blogspot. The faint bow in the bottom right area is actually from Claire's petticoat at the reception! She'd trod on it so many times it had started to tatty off - so we made a minor adjustment, and I told her I was going to scrap it. So Claire - here it tis baby!!
Was in need of another 12 x 12 album and Dean was keen to purchase something for me for Valentines Day.... Bless him, he was going to go over to see Renee @ the shop, but I saved him a trip! As a special extra, he also bought me a pack of the most fabulous journaling pens known to man (of course the soufle & glaze pens are the best too!). Any rate, I have bought the dark blue and dusty brown ones before - so I'll post them over to you. They are SOOO nice to write with. Must thank Dean for his thoughtful purchase when he gets home from work in the morning LOL!! Missing you always. So have you & Dad decided when you're coming accross? October? Seems so far away, but I guess it's only eight months.... it'll be here soon enough. I was thinking about the whole Vic bush fire thing, I mean if I lost everything like that, at least my work would live forever online! Maybe technology aint that bad?! Leave you without that thought, off to bed now, v tired! xxSaturday, February 7, 2009
The Stig!
Received some photo's from home in the post last week. And with my you-beaut new printer with scan function, I was able to scan the photo's, save, modify and print photo quality copies. As soon as I saw this pic of J, I knew he was, THE STIG (well at least his good looking Tasmanian cousin!). I needed the photo in black & white, so the fun began!
This is a little kit I purchased online at scrapboxx.com. Sorry peoples, it was the last one! I think they could of sold another half dozen after to my work mates! I ended up making MM a 'Nanny dog' brag book with little pictures of her 'granddogs' in it (I posted it with out taking a photo!). It was the same size as these little books and I used left over 'Nonsense' collection paper from my ink page with little doggy embelishments - for the doggy theme. I breifly spoke with MM last night and she said she lurved it. Mission complete!

Gone Scrapping Mad!!

It's easy to tell when I have been somewhere or had some time off..... I've actually got new photos and new layouts! I will send photos soon - the burner in the laptop is stuffed so I'll be saving it then to a memory stick.
Getting very excited also, as I am going to treat myself to a scrapping retreat in March (http://www.scrapboxx.com.au/) and I can't wait! xxx
