A social life (yes, it appears I do have one!)

Thought I best put some pics up from my social escapades over the past two weekends.
Next few weekends are going to be taken up with netball so I am looking forward to
getting one last scrap session in with Miss Nic on Anzac Day xx

Scrappy Easter Sunday

Had a fabulous Easter Sunday scrapping with Nic, or who I shall now refer to as the 'Scrapbooking Queen of Kristy's Krib'. Nic completed four layouts while I fluffed between a couple of projects. We stopped for 'high tea' with Tanya and Sim before getting back into it again for a couple more hours. What a great way to whittle away a Sunday.. bliss!!

Gorgeous Nic with her double page
(and Fergus doing his 'Where's Wally?' lol)

2012 One Little Word - FIND

So... my word 'experience' had too many e's in it so I decided to can it (personally I didn't realise that that most alphas only came with 3)! Instead, I have decided upon 'find', see my title page for album below.

Happy new years everyone, hoping it is to be better one for all xx

Hello my friend

My last layout for 2011 x

A busy year ahead..

I am very excited about 2012. Already I have committed myself to three scrapping projects which will each span the course of the year. I very much needed some sort of creative focus and outlet to keep me 'trucking' along while I get myself in order.

Project 366 requires a picture a day for the entire year. My scrap buddy Nic suggested it to me and another scrap buddy Jen, something to keep our creative juices flowing. I did have a go at Project 365 a couple of years ago - but failed miserably. This time, I am DETERMINED to complete it. An added incentive is if I don't, my mates will kick my ass!

My second project is a little 8x8 mixed media album (modeled by a handsome, squinting Rex above) where I am recording my 28 (yes, 28!) new years resolutions. Basically the first two pages has a note to self and a list of the resolutions numbered 1 to 28, then as I achieve each one, I will take a photo, number it and add it to the album.

My third project has nothing to do with Fergus, but the kid does like to pose and I didn't want him feeling left out! The third project is an online tutorial by Ali Edwards called 'One Little Word' (visit the AE blog here). Each month I'll be sent an email with a creative suggestion. My word for 2012 is;

"EXPERIENCE"

As this year I am going to experience so much that I never got to before such as travelling overseas, seeing a game at the G, skydiving... all the things that are on the resolution list!
So experience is the perfect word for me in 2012 :)
