First day of school photo's

Using the photo's you had sent me recently. 'First Day' was class that I missed with Christine a couple of weeks ago, using Grunge board, stamping and glimmermists. 'First day of school' was a scrap lift of a LO I saw in one of the magazines recently. A very inexpensive LO using masking tape and material / paper scraps on a pattern paper background.

And hooray for the long weekend! Still another day to do a bit more scrapping!! Hoot hoot!

Getcha krazy on

This was the stupid self portrait that I took at the netball dinner. Although it's not a pretty shot - I still thought it was a bit of fun and worth keeping. So this is what I did with it. I made the page from cut it down using a shaped paper template, doodled the border using our marvellous pens, created the pressed tin wings and then made the buttons. The stitching is those kaiser rubons. I'm going to purchase the sewing machine next pay (as I remembered last night I've ordered a few $ worth of gourmet cooking stuff!). Anyways hope you enjoyed the LO's.

This is the LO I put together while I was on the phone to you guys the other night. Its messy and colourful and turned out just how I wanted it to.

Multiple Double LO Class with Christine

This was our final class with Chritine for term three. Multiple double LO's we had a choice of what size page we wanted to use. As I only had 2 6x6 LO's in my 6x6 album, so I thought it'd be a good chance to fill it up. Leaving everything to last minute Thursday night, I used the Kylie pack that you had sent me (thank you - it is beautiful xx) and some photo's of Joel from when he was a little bub. The photo's of the LO's have came out a little dull, but I'm happy with how the LO's turned out.

Also, the titles have been done with the versa mark ink pad that I sent you and the foam stamps you bought me years ago. I've doodled around a couple of the titles to give them more pop and to try and mask a couple of smuggy bits from where I got the speed wobbles up with the stamps!

Leeann Pearce recipe LO's

Friday night was crop night at KK, and there was a special guest, Leeann Pearce! Very excited to finally meet this fellow Kalgoorlian, as you know I have bee a big fan of her beautiful 'colour pop' creations since I discovered her for myself on scrapboxx last year. These two LO's are a take on of her recent ones she had there on the night. Heaps easy, you should have a crack at one as well. The doodles (which I have wondered for ages how she done this!) is just doodling with the black glaze pen, let dry and then fill in with that stampin up white one I sent you. How effective is that? The yellow embellishment on 'Tough Guy' is actually a chipboard embellishment of Leeann's I got when I ordered those round tree chipboards (another LP creation).
I've never scrapped 'old' photos of Joel, but finding it kind of theraputic to do while he is on the otherside of the country unwell.
I missed Thursday nights class with Christine but she has kindly sorted me out with class notes, so I'll be having a crack at that today, my pyjama day (dean's at work - so nothing will get done till 5pm, just before he ges home). I think you'll love that LO too. Again I'll probably use old photo's for that LO too.
