Rest in peace Rexy xx

What a terrible week, and in fact year it has been for my family and friends loosing beloved pets. My old man Rexy passed away peacefully Monday afternoon. What is making it hard for me is that I was in Tassie with the family when this occurred. Rex and Fergus have been staying with their Auntie Tanya and Uncle Adam who have been doting over them. Rexy was the best big brother to Fergus and the best dog I could ever ask for. We're all going to miss you terribly Rexy. Home will not be the same without you. "Woo woo" I love you xx.

On a positive note, staying and spending time with my family this festive season has been really nice. I have done a great amount of craft shopping and have also come up with a few ideas I'll be having a go at this coming year. All linking back to my 2013 OLW "create". I'm hoping to create a loving and happy space for my now only little man, Fergus and me. Looking forward to sharing our creations and wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous new year xx

365 things I am grateful for in 2013

I had heard about this website thing called 'Pinterest' but had never looked into it. Last weekend Nic mentioned it to me and suggested I check it out. I think this week alone I have spent approximately 5 hours browsing through all the beautiful things people have posted on there.

One of the items I 'pinned', to one day do myself was a little journal, '365 things I am grateful for in 2010'. It was a beautifully little made album, made out of scraps (and who doesn't have a heap of those lying around their craft room?). So yesterday I made it up, ready to journal in for the new year. It's a fat little book 6.5"x5"x1.75" with approximately 48 pages contained within. I was going to go through and embellish it after I'd put it together but given its size, I don't think it'll be an option!

New Zealand Album

One Little Word progress (November)

I have really enjoyed One Little Word 2012 with Ali Edwards and plan to do it again next year. Although I had got behind in doing the monthly projects, it was easy to catch back up again. I now only have the October and November pages to do today, both of which are half complete.

Out of my three 2012 projects, sadly '366' dropped off in April but the other two are on schedule for completion. I find it really hard to take a meaningful picture every day. Some days go by in a boredom blur on my own or at work, and I don't want to capture photos of that. I would much prefer to remember this year for all the fun times that I had.

Now for a few pics of OLW...

Huka Falls, New Zealand

Yesterday afternoon I spent scrapping with Nicole and you wouldn't believe it, we actually got some scrapping done! I took lots of pictures on my NZ trip with James and Alec. I've almost finished a small album of the trip and will likely do a few LO's also.

You and me

I completed this one earlier this year. it was one of those treasured photos that you
refuse to crop in any way.

A social life (yes, it appears I do have one!)

Thought I best put some pics up from my social escapades over the past two weekends.
Next few weekends are going to be taken up with netball so I am looking forward to
getting one last scrap session in with Miss Nic on Anzac Day xx
